Asta von Astor is a very sweet and shy 10 month old Shepherd mix on the smaller side. Her foster mom says Asta is a people dog, preferring her human’s company even though she is comfortable with other dogs AND cats. Liking to hang out in the house, this sweet girl has good doggie manners and chews only on her toys. Come night time, she will opt to sleep on her doggie bed or inside her crate with the door left open. This calm and loving sweetie will rest her head on your leg so that you can pet her ears and head until she thinks she is in doggie heaven. Asta perks up when she sees another dog; she is more confident when she is around a furry one. In doggie playgroups, she wags her tail and, when a new dog approaches her, she will lie down and wait to lick the other dog’s face.
